Granada - Study In Granada

Program Overview

This 6-week program offers courses examining policies, international relations, and natural and cultural paradigms towards Sustainable Development and Equitable Living at the crossroads of Europe and Africa. In addition, it offers intensive beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish language courses. Based in Granada, but with academic connections and a field trip to Morocco, this program explores policies, mechanisms and cultural paradigms of the topics at hand.

Visit www.IESabroad.org for complete program details.

Why Granada?

Envision spending a summer abroad in the South of Spain, surrounded by the beauty of intercultural experience with art, architecture, and flamenco rhythm coursing through the rich land and cobblestone pathways; warm summer evenings after tapas aplenty and streets lined with vibrant orange trees. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to travel by ferry and spend seven days in Morocco with visits to Tangier, Asilah, Chefchaouen, Tetouan and Ceuta en route, featuring experiences in Rabat.

Student Life

We strive to make sure you feel safe, cared for, and at home while you’re away from home. Whether it’s the orientation program that makes you feel prepared, your housing that is well-located and comfortable, the cultural events that make it easy and fun to meet other international and local students, or the field trips and walking tours that take you to places tourists don’t usually see—we’re all about our student service. Learn more about the day-to-day studying abroad on this program. From field trips to housing, it’s all on IES Abroad’s website.

Scholarships & Aid
