Your Open Campus Block program in Auckland lasts 6, 12, or 18 weeks and is designed to be completely customizable. You will enroll in CIEE courses and online courses taught through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU, with a wide range of subjects to choose from. Diversify Your Experience: Spend 1, 2, or 3 consecutive 6-week blocks in the same host city or travel to different cities for each block to increase mobility and cultural immersion.

Excursions & Activities
CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in Auckland will open doors for you to explore New Zealand’s rich diversity, language, culture, history, contemporary trends, vibrant art, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.
Samples of excursions and activities:
Learn about Maori history, traditions, and stories from knowledgeable guides and explore the Auckland Domain and Bastion Point to gain insights into the Maori connection to the land
Immerse yourself in the world of international art at the Auckland Art Gallery to admire works from renowned artists, explore thought-provoking exhibitions, and participate in art workshops
Embark on a rewarding hike to the summit of Mount Eden, one of Auckland's iconic volcanic cones

Minority Serving Institutions (MIS) Grant - $2,000/semester and $500/summer, guaranteed to all students attending MSIs.
